The Wyndham Reach Resort is where the wedding ceremony and reception will be held, but of course you don't have to stay there. The ceremony will be on the pier seen in the picture below! Everyone cross their fingers that the weather stays nice, although December/January is their "dry season." Currently, Hotel Rooms are reserved under "Frost/Casey Wedding" at the Wyndham Reach Resort, the Grand Key Resort and the Fairfield Inn, so you can call and make room reservations right now. Suites are available at all locations. We have confirmed the reservation contract for the Fairfield Inn, the least expensive hotel we could find on the island. We stayed there in March. They were helpful and very nice to us. We did not have any trouble with anything there and would stay there again. They also serve a free Continental breakfast by their pool every morning. *** Here are the details for each hotel, for which we established contracts: Wyndham Reach Resort (3.5 stars) - $309 per night, two-night minimum. Suites are available for $389 per night. **Room contract expires on 11-29-04** Grand Key Resort (3 stars) - $239 per night, three-night minimum. Suites are available, but not currently under our contract. Please call us to add a suite, if you'd like to stay here! **Room contract expires 12-01-04** Fairfield Inn (2 stars) - $129 per night with no minimum night stay. Suites are available for $159 per night with no minimum night stay. To make a reservation at the Fairfield, you need to call the Sales Manager, Mick Jones, directly @ 305-296-5700, and request to be added to our wedding contract room block. If you get his voicemail, please leave a message and he will call you back and confirm your reservation. As of 9-27-04, there are rooms still available at this hotel - apparently several of our guests have been given wrong information, and we're sorry for the inconvenience! **Room contract expires 11-11-04** We are also happy to establish a reservation contract at any place you find and would like to stay - just holler! It usually saves $20 - 50 per night. *Check out LastMinuteTravel.com for some other deals on hotel rooms for the wedding. Other lodging options are the many Bed and Breakfast Inns, often located in historic, beautiful (and very cool) houses. Also, beach houses can be rented, but generally for a week minimum stay.
